Best Places to Have your Boudoir shoots in Fort Lauderdale
My absolute favorite place for a boudoir shoot in Fort Lauderdale? OMG, I have soooooo many ideas!
Before we dive into a list that might be overwhelming with so many good choices, let’s set the stage first. We have to answer two questions:
What experience do you want to have?
What environment supports your story best?
First, think about what you want your experience to be like.
Do you want to do the shoot and then go on with your day? Maybe you are taking a day off from work, but you still have to pick up the kids after school?
Then think of something short-term: we can rent a little studio space - I can totally hook you up here.
What about a friend with a fabulous house? We just need 4 hours total - short enough to fit in during the day and long enough to have a wonderful time!
Now, you could go all out and really give yourself what you deserve - maybe spend a few nights in a hotel and make a mini-staycation out of it? Nice clean, crisp sheets…room service…a quiet night with NO kids?!? Am I right?! LOL
Then the next step is to figure out your personal style. How do you want to be photographed? Does the bohemian look appeal to you? Do you prefer clean, minimal lines, and colors like gray, black and white? Or maybe you’re a classic beauty? OR, maybe you love the badass, punk rock style? What about a more grunge look?
Pro Tip: Do a Pinterest Board. Collect 20 or so images that speak to you and then take a step back and see what they have in common. Figure out your style. Then pick the hotel or Air Bnb that supports that style.
Check out some of my favorite hotels I’ve shot in:
The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale - a timeless classic; dark wood furnishing, beautiful neutral tones, unsurpassed luxury and service
The Atlantic Hotel & Spa - a great mix between modern and traditional - the ocean front suites are ah-mazing!
W Fort Lauderdale - sleek and modern styling, think clean lines, and lots of silver, charcoal and black.
Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach - the suites here are to die for! Clean, classic and beautiful furniture
North Beach Village Resorts - this boutique hotel group has simple and affordable rooms that range from a crisp all white motif to rooms with cool pop art - if you like a grungy, sporty, or a more masculine look, this could work for you. Think polished concrete floors.
The Plunge Beach Hotel - this is for the funky and fun client - surfer style, mid century styling and bright colors
Margaritaville Hotel - Can you say tropical Florida-style!? Bright colors, beachy, Key West vibes
Hard Rock’s The Guitar Hotel - This crown jewel of the Seminole Hard Rock property in Hollywood promises a first class experience
